Portland: Ox and Kidcrash

Tonight we played with a group of New Mexico musicians, Brian from He Whose Ox Is Gored and then our ex-Santa Fe blokes, The Kidcrash. After the show was over, Dustin, Will, and I got into a beer-inspired bro-fight. Will re-opened one of Dustin’s bedsore scabs, and after Dustin slammed him to the ground, Will is convinced there is now a chipped bone fragment hanging off his knee-cap.
Anyway, we made our way over to the Gingerbread Patriots‘ John Brophy’s house, another ex-New Mexican. A delightful day of NM reunions. Brophy made us fish tacos and I devoured them as if I’ve been living off of canned beans and peanut butter for the last few days. Because I have been.
